Criminal Defense

John Allen has handled over a thousand criminal cases.  He believes every person accused of a crime should get the best defense possible.  He is the former co-chair of the Criminal Defense section of the Madison County Bar.  He understands the importance of really listening to clients.  He believes the best results are achieved through thorough preparation and being prepared to try  the case if necessary.

Appeals

John has handled several criminal appeals and has secured reversals for clients at the Court of Criminal Appeals and the Alabama Supreme Court.  He began his legal career clerking for a federal judge and working for some of the best law firms in the country where he learned how to thoroughly research and brief legal issues.  These skills have been invaluable to his appellate practice.  

Expungement

We help clients obtain expungements to wipe prior charges and sometimes even convictions off their records through expungement.
